ಮಂಗಳೂರು: ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಕನ್ನಡ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಕೊಣಾಜೆ ಸಮೀಪದ ಅಸೈಗೊಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಮೀಸಲು ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಪಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ (ಕೆಎಸ್‌ಆರ್‌ಪಿ) ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಈಶ್ವರ ಹರಿಕಾಂತ ಅವರ ಪುತ್ರಿ  ವಿನಂತಿ ಈಶ್ವರ ಹರಿಕಾಂತ ಅವರು ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತ ‘ಶ್ರೀ ಚಾಮುಂಡೇಶ್ವರಿ ಬಾಲ ಸದ್ಭಾವನಾ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಗೆ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಕಟಣೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದೆ.

ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಕಲಾವಿದರ ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ವೇದಿಕೆ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಮೈಸೂರು ದಸರಾ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ನೀಡಲಾಗುವ ಈ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಗೆ ವಿನಂತಿ ಈಶ್ವರ್ ಹರಿಕಾಂತ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಅವರ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಸಾಧನೆಯನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ಗೌರವಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.

ಇದೇ 18 ರಂದು ಮೈಸೂರು ನಗರದ ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಭವನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಲಿರುವ ‘ಮೈಸೂರು ಸಿರಿ ದಸರಾ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಉತ್ಸವ’ದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿನಂತಿ ಈಶ್ವರ ಹರಿಕಾಂತ ಅವರು ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಮೈಸೂರು ದಸರಾ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಸಂಭ್ರಮದ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ನಡೆಯುವ ಈ ಉತ್ಸವದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿವಿಧ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳು ನಡೆಯಲಿದ್ದು, ಇದೇ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿನಂತಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಪ್ರದಾನ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಸಾಧನೆಗೆ ದೊರೆತ ಈ ಗೌರವವು ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಸಂತಸಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿದೆ.

Mangaluru dancer Vinanti Harikant selected for national award

MANGALURU: Vinanti Eshwar Harikant, daughter of a Karnataka State Reserve Police (KSRP) head constable, has been selected for the prestigious Sri Chamundeshwari Bala Sadbhavana Rashtriya Award.

The award, instituted by the Karnataka State Artists’ Protection Forum as part of the Mysuru Dasara celebrations, recognises Vinanti’s achievements in the field of culture, according to a press release.

She will receive the award at the Mysuru Siri Dasara Cultural Festival, scheduled to be held at the Kannada Sahitya Bhavan in Mysuru on October 18.

The festival, organised as part of the Dasara cultural celebrations, will feature various cultural programmes, during which the award will be presented to Vinanti.

Vinanti is the daughter of Eshwar Harikant, a KSRP head constable posted at Asaigoli near Konaje in Dakshina Kannada district, and Arati. Her selection for the award is a moment of pride for her family.
