ಮಂಗಳೂರು: ಲಯನ್ಸ್ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಹೈಲ್ಯಾಂಡ್‌ನ 2026–27ನೇ ಸಾಲಿನ ನೂತನ ಪದಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಪದಗ್ರಹಣ ಸಮಾರಂಭ ಮಲ್ಲಿಕಟ್ಟೆಯ ಲಯನ್ಸ್ ಸೇವಾ ಮಂದಿರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಿತು.

ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ನೂತನ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿ ಲಯನ್ ಚಂದ್ರಶೇಖರ ಎಂ.ಎಸ್., ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಯಾಗಿ ಲಯನ್ ರಾಮಚಂದ್ರ ಕೆ. ಹಾಗೂ ಖಜಾಂಚಿಯಾಗಿ ದಿನೇಶ್ ಗೌಡ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದರು. ಲಯನ್ ರಿತೇಶ್ ರಾವ್ ಅವರ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಜಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಸಂಪುಟ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಲಯನ್ ಗೀತಾ ರಾವ್ ನೂತನ ಪದಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಹಸ್ತಾಂತರಿಸಿದರು.

ಹೊಸ ಸದಸ್ಯರನ್ನು ಲಯನ್ ರಾಜಾಕೃಷ್ಣ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಿದರೆ, ನೂತನ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರ ಪರಿಚಯವನ್ನು ಲಯನ್ ಗಣೇಶ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿವಿಧ ಸಮಾಜಮುಖಿ ಸೇವಾ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳಿಗೂ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು.

ನಿಕಟಪೂರ್ವ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಲಯನ್ ನವೀನ್ ನಾಯಕ್ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾಂತೀಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಲಯನ್ ಮೊಹಮ್ಮದ್ ಇಕ್ಬಾಲ್ ಶೇಖ್, ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಸಂಪುಟದ ಪದಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು, ವಿವಿಧ ಲಯನ್ಸ್ ಕ್ಲಬ್‌ಗಳ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಹಾಗೂ ಗಣ್ಯರು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.

ಲಯನ್ ಅವಿನ್ ಕುಟಿನ್ಹೋ ಮತ್ತು ಲಯನ್ ಪಿ.ವಿ. ಅನಿಲ್‌ಕುಮಾರ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಲಯನ್ ರಾಮಚಂದ್ರ ಕೆ. ವಂದಿಸಿದರು.

Mangaluru: The installation ceremony of the newly elected office-bearers of Lions Club Mangalore Highland for the 2026–27 term was held at the Lions Seva Mandir in Mallikatte on Sunday.

Lion Chandrashekar M.S. assumed office as President, while Lion Ramachandra K. took charge as Secretary and Dinesh Gowda as Treasurer.

The installation ceremony was conducted by former District Cabinet Secretary Lion Geetha Rao, who formally administered the oath and handed over the responsibilities to the new team in the presence of Lion Ritesh Rao.

During the event, Lion Rajakrishna Shetty introduced the club’s new members, while Lion Ganesh Shetty introduced the newly installed President. The club also launched several community service initiatives as part of the programme.

Immediate Past President Lion Naveen Nayak welcomed the gathering. The ceremony was attended by Regional Chairperson Lion Mohammed Iqbal Sheikh, district cabinet office-bearers, members of various Lions Clubs, and other distinguished guests.

The programme was compered by Lion Avin Coutinho and Lion P.V. Anilkumar, while Secretary Lion Ramachandra K. proposed the vote of thanks.
